This year, Nevada Adult Day Healthcare Centers will participate in the Second Annual Champions Beyond the Ring Fundraising Event “Boxers vs. Bosses.”
Join us on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Red Rock Casino Pavilion Ballroom to see four healthcare executives and leaders get into the boxing ring with two TMT professional boxers. Our own CEO, Chris Vito will take on the challenge of raising awareness and money for disabled adults and senior care.
Why Boxers vs. Bosses?
Unfortunately, state and federal funding does not cover the cost of daily caregiving for in need senior day care centers or day care centers for adults with disabilities. Currently, anyone making less than $800 a month qualifies for Medicaid and disability assistance. Any senior or disabled adult making more than that, such as $1,200 a month from Social Security, does not qualify for social services. So while they make more money, they are still not able to afford senior day care centers. Family members and caregivers face many challenges as they try to cover the cost of
Because our clients and their needs are so important to us, we put on the Boxers vs. Bosses Charity event to raise money for in need disabled adults and seniors.
Sponsorships and tickets are still available for purchase. Luncheon and awards ceremony tickets are $75 per person, and the Boxing Event Tickets are $7 for the general public, $3 for seniors aged 62 and up. Fighters participating for senior day care center and disabled adult care facilities are:
- TMT: The Money Team members Jeff Mayweather, Lightweight Champion and Amer Abdallah, Light Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion
- Ricky Barlow, Councilman for City of Las Vegas
- Sam Billig, CEO of Healthsouth Henderson Rehabilitation Hospital
- David Marlon, CEO of Solutions Recovery
- Chris Vito, CEO of Nevada Adult Day Healthcare Centers.
Autographed boxing gloves by Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will also be auctioned at the event.
