The Independent Senior Foundation honored Joseph M. Thomas with a Centenarian Award at the Nevada Adult Day Health Center on July 23rd. The local Las Vegas resident celebrated his 100th birthday with friends and family at the adult day center. He is the first recipient of the Independent Senior Foundation’s Centenarian award. The staff and family at Nevada Adult Day Health Care want to acknowledge Joe for his lifetime contribution to his family, his community, and his country.

The child of He will give a brief talk about his Triumphs, his Hardships and his Advice to Young
People. Plus, we will unveil his Words of Wisdom that will be memorialized on the walls of
Nevada Adult Day Healthcare Centers where other Centenarians have memorialized
their Words of Wisdom.

This award was created to honor Las Vegas Valley who is celebrating their 100th or 100+ Birthday. Nevada Adult Day Healthcare supports the Independent Senior Foundation in celebrating the lives of those that have reached this amazing milestone. The center also has many adult day programs and services to support the elderly. We were able to feature the organization and talk about the Centenarian Award. The Independent Senior Foundation is a foundation created to be a champion voice for seniors, disabled and their caregivers in Nevada. The ISF is determined to help every senior or disabled citizen in need. This is done by assisting them with financial services, quality healthcare, mobility services and other social services. The organization provides access to an adult daycare facility. The goal is to help seniors and disabled citizens improve and/or maintain their level of independence and quality of life. Independent Senior Foundation has cost-effective solutions to alternative assistance and adult daycare services for seniors and disabled citizens in Nevada. We have a vision that this support will help their livelihood and preserve their dignity.
